Heat oil over medium-high heat and add mustard seeds.
Once they start to crackle add the kari leaf and aloow to darken.
Add cayenne, turmeric, salt, and then onion paste.
Add tomato paste and water and allow to boil, stirring from time to time. If sauce becomes to thick add extra water.
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and add fish. Allow fish 5-8 minutes to cook. Add the Garam Malasa and stir in. Once fish is fully cooked, place in serving dish or over rice.
